Welcome! My name is Heather Joy. My passion for being creative began earlier than I can remember. I love all things involved with home decor, vintage, fabric, and paper. Through blogging, I hope to inspire you to craft.
I've just finished block five of the blogger's block-a-palooza! Miss Print gave an amazing tutorial! I loved the technique that she taught to make all of the flying geese. However, I have to say that this block took me a really long time! I've been stuck on it and trying to finish it for a couple of nights. Tonight, I had sucess! I'm really happy that with this technique none of the tips got chopped off. With the other "no-waste" method from block # 3 shoofly geese, all of my tips were chopped off! Overall, my favorite method is to just cut off the triangles and perhaps I'll make something with the "waste" later.
*For many of you, that might have been too much quilting technical terms, however, for my block-a-palooza friends...you all know what I'm talking about!*
This picture is just okay, I'll talk another one in the light of day!
I think that there is a little too much white, but I'm not going to make all of the geese again!
Here are my fabric choices for block #6: You are Here, I decided to label the cuts as I was getting confused as I cut them since I'm not using the sunkissed fabrics. In the end, it will work out! I'm loving the process!
