Design Sponge Crafting Event!

This afternoon I had the pleasure of attending an amazing craft event put on my Grace Bonney and Amy Azzarito of Design*Sponge. If you're unfamiliar, Design*Sponge is the blog in the design blogging world. But for me, it's the first blog that I started reading, and in a way, Grace really introduced me to this amazing community of design/craft blogs! Everyday there are multiple posts consisting of home tours, DIY projects, before and afters, new artists, and lots more! The blog is pretty much like a free book everyday. Well, Grace has compiled some of the best posts from her blog and loads of fresh new ideas and info into a beautiful book inside and out! It's fun to be able to flip through the book rather than scrolling through a web page! Grace & Amy are touring the country hosting not only book signings, but also craft events. 

A friend, Cecilia, and I had a great time making our own stamps out of adhesive foam! It's our favorite new craft supply! Way easier to cut and create shapes out of, rather than the rubber stamp blocks. I'm excited to start making some of my own fabric to use in my sewing and designing of Fabric Cards.

 Our progress, don't you love the pattern on the tote bag?! Three gals made this together and made one big stamp. Such a great idea! 

My pattern is the yellow and orange leaves. Now what to make with it...tote bag, small zipper bag, fabric card, or pillow cover...any suggestions?
