Chris picked up these amazing chairs for a steal at the local goodwill store. They were in pretty awful shape, but with some attention and love, they turned out great! They ended up being a commissioned project for a local project. They picked out the fabric and we re-did them!
Chris first did the grunt work of pulling off all of the old fabric. Definitely the hardest part of a reupholstering job! He then sanded and stained the wood. I worked on sewing the cushions and stapling everything on. This was the first project that we attempted with the back of the chair upholstered. It's not as scary as it looks, but do expect to spend a lot of time. Re-upholstering chairs is a huge time investment!
I definitely learned a few things and will change some things for next time, but I'm happy with the overall result!
