Flea Market Finds >> 17
Monday, April 23, 2012 Happy Monday! I'm super glad to be "back" sharing with you on the blog. It was a great break to reflex, visit my "home", Bay Area, work on a few projects that I'll share in the upcoming month, and have some amazing guest bloggers. It was so fun to see what they came up with! I'm inspired by their creativity, I hope that you are too!
This past weekend in Portland was amazing. The sun was shining and it was hot! Such a nice change from the constant cold and damp. Everyone was out and enjoying the weather, including Chris and I! We got up early on Sunday morning and attended the North Portland flea market. Here's a look at our finds for the day:

I couldn't resist this beauty of a bowl. It's very similar to the color-blocked basket I made for Design Sponge. Lately, I love anything in stripes and this vase's colors and shape are so unique. Finally, a vintage chip and dip set! I've never seen anything like it. They even had the box, so we couldn't pass it up!

Containers seemed to be the theme for my thrift finds this week!
Happy Thrifting!

Ah! I have a blue vase and yellow vase just like yours - I think they're actually decanters! (I actually have found 2 yellow ones and 1 of the yellow ones had a little glass top with it!) I just love them so much. I have my blue one on my dining room buffet and my yellow one on my windowsill at work and then a yellow one for sale. I think I remember even having to scrape off a liquor label from one of them. I wish beverages still came in such beautiful containers!!
Great finds and I think we must have flip flopped weather. It was rainy and dreary and 50 something here - too cold for April!!
That chip and dip set is so cute! I love finding things like that in the original boxes. Nice finds!
