Handmade Ottoman
Wednesday, May 16, 2012 Making pieces of furniture that we can use in our home is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do! I must admit, the first time attempting any project is difficult. I didn't like these ottomans because I felt I didn't complete it in a way that I was proud of. But now, that I've made at least seven ottomans, I feel I've perfected the process and it quickly and easily comes together. I've tried multiple ways to make ottomans, but this method proves to be durable and I love how the pattern isn't broken up by a seam. If you try it out, let me know! I'd love to see your result! ;)
The corners have always been the hardest part for me. But here is the easiest way I've found:

In this post, I'm not revealing how to insert the cupholder as I feel that is a Davidson speciality. ;) Alos, Chris buys the legs at Ace Hardware store, they are easy to assemble and screw in, promise!
Happy Ottoman Making! ;)

Too cute! I love this idea....I think I will make two matching benches for the end of my bed. P.S. Great fabric choice.
