Blogging Your Way 2.0

Last Spring, I took a class that changed my blog, Blogging Your Way by Holly Becker. I was a newbie to blogging and Holly taught me all of the essentials to blogging that I've used on a daily basis. Holly is truly an amazing blogger, she creates such a warm environment on her blog and in her classes. She also is such a good connector, and has given avenues that she has created to keep the students in contact with each other. Since taking the class I have been looped into a fabulous network of bloggers helping one another. So when I heard that Holly was going to teach a more "advanced" blogging class: Blogging Your Way 2.0, I jumped at the chance!
The class officially starts today, there are many videos to watch, articiles to read, forums to meet your classmates, and more! I've been enjoying meeting many bloggers who blog about the things I love too, crafts and vintage! Here are a few of my favorite blogs from my classmates.
Another reason why I'm so excited is that in addition to learning from Holly, she has chosen some amazing co-teachers:
In addition to these two, upon class starting I discovered that Katina Tan from Pugly Pixel is teaching too. I visit her site almost daily, and I'm constantly watching her photoshop tutorial videos.
I have many goals and topics that I want to learn from this class. Here are a few:
- Monetizing my blog
- Other money-making blog opportunities
- How to build a bigger audience
- truly blogging from my heart
- building on my brand
- connecting with bloggers in the Pacific Northwest and around the world

Speaking of connecting, tonight I'm going to a Portland blogger meet-up party. I'm excited to meet some more bloggers who live here! Fingers crossed that I won't be too nervous and will be able to be myself!

Hi Heather - it's so awesome to meet you! I'm excited to get to know everyone in the BYW class and their blogs.. Love your look, it's so gorgeous... clean, simple and pretty. Yay for BYW 2 :D I'm a bit nervous about it (I think I would have benefited from the beginners class but was too impatient to see if it came around again) I'm very excited too though!

Hi Heather - glad to meet you. I am in BYW 2.0 class as well. I took Holly's BYW class last year also - and I took her Road trip class in NYC as well, so I got to meet her.
I love the look of your blog. I am going to be changing mine (new name - and a new look - in Wordpress - I am abandoning Blogger). Can't wait.
I will follow you - hopefully you will check my blog out as well.

Hey! It was wonderful meeting you on Friday at the PNW meetup (although I don't think we got to really talk much, I just saw you across the table!). I took BYW #1 too!!! Last Fall....I really wanted to take this 2nd version but this next month is just too packed, hopefully next time!! :)
