What I Wish We Kept
Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Many people ask or comment on how much fun it must be to do what Chris and I do. We do have a great time, however, it's not always so fun to have to sell pieces that we love instantaneously. Here are all of the recent pieces that I wish we could have kept, if this were not the way we make a living.

I still mourn over that sofa, but hopefully, we'll find something else that we could keep in the future. Occasionally, we can keep some pieces but only if I really beg! Currently, I'm begging that we can keep the pair of teak and brass lamps (pictured above, Chris just got them this weekend and they haven't sold yet) that are currently making our living room look spectacular! Hint, hint! ;)

That mid-cent sofa is AMAZING, would love to upholster that in a fabulously colourful print fabric!
I would never ever have been able to part with that sofa!
That does look like a fantastic couch! Those lamps are definitely keeper too. I can't think of anything that I really regret selling. I don't come across great mid-century items around here very often so usually when I do they are keepers. There are tons of things I regret not buying though!
I can't think of one instance in particular but it's happened often enough that I now buy it if i love it so I don't have to regret not having it. Also, what a great mustard lounge chair below.
