Back from Vacation!
Thursday, July 19, 2012 Well, I took a blog vacation longer than anticipated, but I don't feel guilty about it! There really has been no way to keep up blogging over the past month. I've been thinking a lot about my blog and what I want to change. I'm excited to see where and how my blog will progress over the next year. But for now here's a little recap of my vacation:
I had a blast with my mom while she was in town! We did lots of normal activities as she wanted to see my everyday life. The tour included: lots of yarn and fabric shops, crazy Alberta St., the beautiful Sellwood neighborhood, NW 23rd, Powell's Books, and more. But mainly we just enjoyed each other's company, visited a quilting project, began many knitting projects (I'll be sharing about these soon), and cooking together. My mom also really enjoys birds and bird watching, we have many in our backyard, and we caught this flicker eating some breakfast one morning.
Tomorrow, I'm going to share about my trip to Sisters, Oregon for the 37th Annual Quilt Show. See you then! :)

Welcome back! BTW, I recently took an Alt Channel photography class and they featured a photo from the Alt Summit and you were in it. :)
