Seven Years...

On August 27th, 2005, I married my best friend.

Our pre-marriage/dating days: 

Today, I'm even happier as he's still my best friend and amazing partner in life. It hasn't always been easy and it still won't be, but it's been the best. I'm so thankful that God gave me Chris as he is such an amazing man to rely on and be partners. This past year we've experienced so much change. He supported me with my decision to quit my "dream job", move to Portland,  and pursue my passions. In the midst of this, he too found his dream job and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. 

Over this past year, we've spent the most time together than we have in our lives. We truly work well together in our careers and it's such a pleasure to share this together. I'm so excited to see where our lives take us this year, as we develop and grow our business, Remnant. 

Today, we are driving to the coast for the first time, and having a bit of a picker's trip. We've mapped out a route and have lots of thrift and antique stores to check out. I'll post instagram pics of what we find along the way. We truly love working together like this, it seems like a perfect way to celebrate seven years!
